The "Catforce" is a group of voluntary SUST animal welfare helpers who actively and with a lot of expertise engage in cat neutering campaigns in Switzerland.
It can quickly happen that a "normal" cat keeping situation gets out of control. That's why we launched the Catforce.
Last week, the CATFORCE was in action in the Winterthur region. What started as a few mousers quickly turned into a 21-member cat colony on a horse farm. 20 of these cats were caught, tested, treated, vaccinated, chipped, marked, and neutered.
One of them was too small for neutering, but it voluntarily joined and was immediately adopted and named (Susy).
Real animal welfare involves more than just feeding stray cat colonies. It's about capturing feral cats, getting them neutered, and then, if possible, releasing them back into their familiar environment (while continuing to care for them).
Thank you for making this sustainable animal welfare work possible with your donations.
