Susy Utzinger founded the foundation in 2000 and is still responsible for the professional direction of the projects at home and abroad.

A small team in Turbenthal manages the foundation's projects, ranging from providing food and animal shelter support to advising on individual animal welfare cases.
Among the employees
The expert committee decides on strategies and project progress together with the management and also takes on additional technical tasks.
To the Board of Trustees
Well-known animal lovers volunteer their time and influence to support the projects. This allows SUST to avoid expensive fundraising campaigns.
To the ambassadors
In Hungary and Romania, animal welfare specialists represent the foundation on the ground. They are familiar with the authorities, animal shelters and customs and can act quickly.
