Parry: a puppy rescued from a war zone

Published on May 7th, 2026

Symbolic
Parry is an approximately 8-year-old male dog. He has experienced things no animal should have to experience.
Parry wandered through the war zone of Beirut. He searched for shelter and food amidst the city's ruins.
Luckily, he was found and taken to the SUST animal orphanage hospital.
Here he is now receiving medical care and loving attention.

For many animals, SUST-OAH Beirut has long since become more than just a clinic:

  • It is a safe haven amidst the war
  • A temporary home
  • A place where they receive food, shelter, and love.

For Parry, this means:

  • Finally, a sense of security again.
  • People who care for him.
  • And the chance for a new life.
Please donate now so that we can continue to help war-affected animals like Parry: https://susyutzinger.ch/spenden
Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible, even where hope is hardest to find.
In the name of the animals, we will not give up.
Thank you to our team on the ground, who are working under extremely difficult conditions and dealing with the constant effects of war. You are heroes!
