This is how easy the SUST emergency food aid works.

  1. Fast, easy and unbureaucratic: Here you can donate towards pet food. The money goes into a special account and is used directly for the purchase of pet food.
  2. Professional and safe: SUST selects animal shelters for its support that meet a minimum animal welfare standard. Preference is given to shelters and animal welfare projects that operate sustainably. Of course, emergencies take priority.
  3. Fast, targeted, environmentally friendly: SUST thus purchases the necessary feed directly on site. This keeps long waiting times, as well as delivery and transport costs, to a minimum.
  4. Donate securely: The feed deliveries are documented on the SUST's social media channels.

Every contribution saves lives: Please support our pet food donation campaign!

Switzerland

  • Many Swiss animal shelters and sanctuaries regularly receive food deliveries for their homeless charges from the SUST warehouse.
  • SUST's social work for animals donates food and supplies directly to pet food banks. You can find more information here. here.
  • For food deliveries in Switzerland, we are supported by feed manufacturers and we also gladly accept food donations from private animal lovers (please only closed food bags and cans/pouches).
Please send your food donation by post to: Susy Utzinger Foundation for Animal Welfare, Weisslingerstrasse 1, 8483 Kollbrunn

Ausland

  • Food shortage in animal shelters: Many animal shelters feed their homeless animals with leftover food from school canteens, restaurants and hotels – this vital support can disappear from one day to the next due to financial difficulties.
  • Animal shelters are overcrowded: In addition, many pet owners are currently surrendering their animals to shelters or abandoning them for financial reasons.
  • Donation crisis: In crisis situations, many animal shelters no longer receive donations.
  • Pet owners in distress: When they can no longer care for their animals, they abandon them. That's why we also distribute food to pet owners in need.
