When animal shelters need help, SUST is there for them.

While animal shelters and sanctuaries throughout Switzerland struggle daily for their survival and take care of the extensive needs of their orphaned animals, important aspects of their daily shelter operations can be neglected.

Since 2000, the Susy Utzinger Foundation for Animal Welfare has been providing support to animal shelters where they reach their limits: SUST experts conduct workdays in animal shelters, during which SUST teams tackle long-overdue tasks, modify or expand shelter facilities, reorganize shelter processes, coordinate (and cover the costs of) skilled trades work, and deliver animal feed, shelter supplies, and building materials to animal shelters throughout Switzerland.

Here, animal welfare volunteers dedicate their free time, expertise, and energy to helping homeless animals, free of charge.
