As part of the SUST Catforce, we were in action on 26.11.2023 in Maienfeld (GR) with a large cat trapping and neutering campaign.
9 SUST animal welfare assistants, who have specialized in their assigned tasks in several further training courses, and the four-member SUST partner veterinarian team from the
Tierarztpraxis Capricorn AG take care of a house full of cats from very small to senior age.
It's easy for "normal" cat care to get out of hand. That's why we created the Catforce.
Tame and less tame pets are caught, tested, treated, vaccinated, chipped, marked, neutered and sometimes released back into their familiar environment with the prospect of a healthy and long life.
Some of these animals are given a place in partner animal shelters until they soon find a new and permanent home.
Some of them are already going to their new "forever homes" today.
