You are scared, swimming for your life and each breath is harder than the previous one. There are people who don't want to invest money in rescuing you because you are "just" a farm animal and by rescuing you, they are somehow supporting your owners. But you need help NOW, as you are miserably in danger of drowning and suffocating. So luckily there is the Large Animal Rescue Service CH/FL, which has the appropriate equipment and trained professionals to gently rescue you from mortal danger. And luckily people who love animals, make it possible for the Susy Utzinger Foundation to finance such elaborate rescues.

While most equine emergencies are covered by insurance or private funding from their owners, the costs incurred in rescuing so-called farm animals often present financial problems for the farmers involved. To ensure that these important missions are nevertheless carried out, SUST, together with the GTRD, runs the campaign "Farm animals deserve professional rescue too" and for years SUST has financed the uncovered costs of rescues of so-called "farm animals".
