Moana is growing up!
Little Moana, who arrived at the Orphaned Animal Hospital at the end of last year as a tiny, orphaned baby monkey, is growing and growing!
After spending a long time at the hospital, she was able to move into a large outdoor enclosure. Here she has direct contact with conspecifics in the enclosure, as well as contact outside with the large, free monkey group.
She continues to get milk three times a day and is weighed and examined weekly. We are very proud of her progress, especially because she is not looking for contact with humans and is rather oriented towards the other woolly monkeys!
