If you see the first bumblebee these days, it is a young queen bumblebee looking for a suitable nesting site. However, as there may still be frost and food is still scarce for the bumblebee queens (early bloomers), they may die of exhaustion.
So if you find an exhausted bumblebee, you can help the young queen.
