Imagine you have an accident and injure yourself seriously.
Although your injuries are serious, there is realistic hope that you will make a full recovery thanks to expert doctors. BUT: The costs for your treatment are immense. If you are a human and live in Switzerland, you are in luck: nobody will let you die for cost reasons. If you are an animal, the situation is different: Here, money is often the deciding factor between life or death.
The cost estimate for Mayo's operation was so high that his owners decided not to keep him. If no one had paid for Mayo's treatment, his fate would have been sealed.
Together with our partner organization in western Switzerland,
KUMEA we decided that Mayo should live. Our “worry anmial fund” currently contains around CHF 3,000. Unfortunately, this is not enough to pay for the extremely expensive operation.
Who would help us to cover Mayo's vet bill? Every donation - no matter how small - is very welcome and will help us to give Mayo a second chance at life.
Every incoming donation marked “Mayo” will be used 100% for its intended purpose. If we receive more donations than we need for Mayo's bill, we will use them for another Swiss rescue animal.
