Poor Chrystal was probably originally bought to protect something or someone. To make her look more dangerous, her ears and tail were cut off - as is unfortunately common in many countries. Perhaps they wanted to breed her in order to make a profit from her puppies. She reacted to an unsuccessful mating with a severe vaginal prolapse. Her owner probably didn't want to have her treated or watch her die, which is why he abandoned Chrystal without further ado. Fortunately for her, our team at the SUST Orphan Animal Hospital in Galati was informed and picked up the dog.
The operation was difficult but successful and Chrystal is doing well again today. Although she has only ever been disappointed by humans, she is grateful and cuddly towards her caregivers at the Orphan Animal Hospital.
Start sponsor Ursula K. has made a one-off donation of
CHF 100 towards Chrystal's treatment costs.
As a thank you, she will receive a beautiful certificate with a photo of Chrystal and the certainty that she has given an animal in need the chance of a better future.
