Many areas of Switzerland are home to feral cats that belong to no one and give birth to kittens in an uncontrolled manner. This life often ends tragically: cat colonies are frequently killed using cruel methods.
SUST-CatForce, the neutering project of the Susy Utzinger Foundation for Animal Welfare, tackles this problem at its roots! Real animal welfare means more
than simply feeding feral cat colonies. Our team professionally catches feral pets, has them neutered and - if possible - returns them to their familiar environment, where they continue to be cared for.
