Also the pony farm HOPE introduces itself and its work on the animal protection market:
"Our participation in the animal protection market is very important to us, so that we can clear up and point out yet more humans about our work that animal protection in these times means an enormously important thing for each unjustly kept animal. Furthermore we are each year in the grateful situation for some years by the Susy Utzinger foundation to be allowed to count on a working day on our yard with many voluntary aids. Also we are allowed to introduce our sanctuary to all interested people with a presentation at our stand.
We try to sell donations for the food of our animals with small haybags, in addition Nicole Brägger produces tin magic for us with very great wall lamps with pony/donkey-motives. We also sell Pony/donkey magnets by Blechzauber. For our smallest visitors we offer a "Päcklifischen".
The activities of the pony farm HOPE
Our pony catching station HOPE is located in Bad Ragaz. Our foundation dates back already 12 years, but everything was only done quietly. As private persons we have taken in neglected, maltreated, physically and mentally ill ponies and donkeys and have managed everything on our own without any external help. When we got our own homepage years ago (as a donation) the whole thing exploded, we were taken by surprise with inquiries and could no longer financially support the whole thing ourselves. Thereupon we made many Facebook entries and made people aware of our situation.
We try to pass on the animals entrusted to us, however these which are physically no longer mediable remain with us and so it is not surprising that we quickly reach our limits. Beside the everyday life with mucking out, care, training, occupation of the animals many administrative work comes in addition like the arrangement, clarification, inspection of places and, and, and, and.
All our great helpers, who have been with us for many years, are there on a voluntary basis for our animals 7 days a week 365 days a year for our sanctuary. For the welfare of our animals we try to find each of our protégés a suitable occupation for their situation (condition), be it by driving, ground work, walking or simply providing them with good care for a while.
