Another ray of hope at the SUST Orphan Animal Hospital Bucharest

Sara is a six months old puppy. She was found on the street by a family who asked us for help. Sara was feeling very bad. It looked like parvovirosis, although the test was negative. She had probably been bought as a fancy pet, but no one bothered to vaccinate her, and then when she got sick, they just abandoned her on the street.

Since the symptoms were very similar to the deadly disease that is so common in unvaccinated puppies, we decided to give her the full treatment: intravenous fluids, vitamins, anti-vomiting and anti-diarrheal medications, and antibiotics. After several days of intensive care, Sara finally responded to the treatment. Now she is recovering in her new home, very close to the people who found her.

Thanks to your donations, we were able to save this poor dog from an agonizing death. Although they may look carefree and spoiled, pretty dogs are often victims of neglect, as many people buy them to show off, but then deny them medical care or help.
