Take responsibility!

October 2024

The health and safety of our cats are in our hands. Uncontrolled reproduction poses significant risks, both for the animals themselves and for animal shelters, which struggle with limited capacities. Although there have been initiatives for a national neutering mandate, these were rejected by parliament as "disproportionate."

Since a legal solution is not currently in sight, we appeal to the personal responsibility of all cat owners.

Neutering: Neutered cats are not only healthier but also live longer. The risk of infections such as FIV (feline AIDS) and leukemia is reduced. At the same time, we can prevent unwanted litters and the suffering of homeless animals.

Registration: Registration helps quickly return lost cats to their homes. It is an important protection for your pet and provides safety for both you and your cat.

Ensure your cat stays healthy—for a long and happy life!
