Working day at the sanctuary "Tante Martha"

This Saturday, a large team of SUST helpers, led by project manager Corinne Frana, is working at the Tante Martha sanctuary and carrying out urgently needed work. While animal shelters and sanctuaries all over Switzerland are fighting for their existence on a daily basis and take care of the complex care of their orphan animals, it can happen that important points in their everyday life are neglected. Since 2000, the animal shelter support provided by the Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation has been helping where animal shelters reach their limits: It is part of the daily work of SUST specialists to conduct outreach days in animal shelters, where SUST teams tackle long overdue work, make structural changes or additions to shelter facilities, reorganize shelter operations, coordinate craftsmen's work (and cover their costs), and deliver animal food, shelter utensils, and building materials to shelters throughout Switzerland.
