The SUST employees of the Galati district in Romania were just trying to relax and enjoy the day of work when they discovered this abandoned puppy in a village.
With all the fast traffic we were the only hope for the little bitch. When we managed to catch her, we noticed how thin she was. She was full of parasites and immediately started vomiting worms, which led us to realize that she must have eaten dead animals that she found on the roadside.
Now she is safe, has been dewormed and has already received her first vaccination in our animal orphan hospital. The next step is to find her a real home that she really deserves.
With your valuable support, we can offer these life-saving opportunities to animals in need. Little Biggi - her new name - is very grateful for your support.
The Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation finances veterinary costs, clinic equipment, medication, operations, therapies, food and care in the five animal orphan hospitals.
