Start of the season!

April 2023

On 29.4.2023 was the starting signal for the SUST animal shelter work days!
For this purpose, the hardworking SUST animal welfare workers were in the beautiful Bünztal in the canton of Aargau, at the rescue station New Graceland.
The rescue center mainly takes in greyhounds from Spain, but also cares for other dogs that have been abandoned in Spain, often severely mistreated and/or abused. The animals receive medical care at the sanctuary, are socialized and placed in good homes.
So many animals have been given a new chance thanks to New Graceland in the last 20 years, now some renovations are urgently needed.
For example, the dog bathing area has been concreted over, as it is no longer quite watertight. In addition, a new wooden dog ramp was built, skip guards were installed and some high-pressure cleaner magic was used over the area.
