Help needed! Puppy flood at the SUST Orphan Animal Hospital in Galati, Romania

May 2024

Not less than 13 puppy and 8 kitten babies had to be taken in and treated at our Orphan Animal Hospital in Galati within a few days. Our team is working tirelessly to nurture the many new arrivals and provide them with the best possible care. These babies cannot go back onto the streets as they would have minimal chances of survival there.

Sponsors Katja B. and Corinne M. have helped cover the immense veterinary costs incurred by these adorable pets with a starting sponsorship through a one-time donation of CHF 75.-- per kitten, supporting their medical needs. In gratitude, they will receive a beautiful certificate with a photo of their sponsored pet. Additionally, they had the opportunity to give their sponsored kittens appropriate names.

The tricolored kitten is now named Rosie, while the tabby with white is named Finn. Originally, these two mini-cats had another sibling who unfortunately passed away. Their mother gave birth to them in a warehouse where they couldn't stay. It was challenging to rescue the little family because the mother fiercely defended her young.

Now, they are in a safe place where they can grow into big, strong cats.
